BURLINGTON GOLF CLUB, 2124 Sunnyside Ave., fireworks will be at dusk on the driving range, with street parking.

CHARLIE KORSCHGEN Kiddie Parade is 10 a.m. from 14th Street and Avenue G to Sixth Street and Avenue G.

DONNELLSON CELEBRATIONS included the 6:3010 a.m. fire station pancake breakfast, Tunnel to Towers, 8 a.m., then a 10:30 a.m. Parade.

FORT MADISON FIREWORKS starts about 9-9:30 p.m. in Riverview Park. Avenue H will be closed. Food vendors will be in Central Park during the day. City Band will perform at 7:30 p.m.

FRANKLIN’S JULY 4 fireworks are at dark at the Franklin Park, where the day starts at 2 p.m. with live bands, then 3 p.m. flag raising, 5 p.m. freewill dinner, fireworks at dark.

FRIDAY NIGHT ART HOP for ages 3 and up is 6 p.m. at Art Center of Burlington, 301 Jefferson St. Register by calling (319) 754-8069.

KEOKUK JULY 4 fireworks is at dusk in Rand Park. The celebration including carnival is July 3-5 at the park.

KEOSAUQUA LIONS JULY 4 CELEBRATION is 7 a.m.-10 p.m. in the Keosauqua City Park, 100 Van Buren St. Fireworks over the Des Moines River start at dark.

LAHARPE, ILLINOIS, FIREWORKS at 9:30 p.m. will cap off a July 4 celebration from 6 a.m.10 p.m. at Lamoine Valley Golf Course, West Archer Avenue.

MORNING SUN FIREWORKS are at dusk at the school, after a full day of activities for all ages. The fun continues Saturday, including the 1 p.m. Mellinger Library Historic Recognition.

MOUNT PLEASANT JULY 4 PARADE is 5 p.m. in McMillan Park, along with free activities including trolley and carousel rides, bounce house, and fireworks will be at dark.

NEW LONDON July 4 parade, “Honoring Our Quilts of Valor” is 10 a.m. Downtown.

  1. ST. PAUL UNITED CHURCH OF CHRIST, 303 W. Mount Pleasant St., will serve pulled pork sandwiches with potato salad or coleslaw, baked beans, dessert and drink for $10 for adults, $5 for children 10 and younger. Eat in or carry out.

WAYLAND INDEPENDENCE DAY celebration will cap off a day of activities with fireworks at dusk at the WACO school football field. The parade is 10:30 a.m. on Main Street.

WEST BURLINGTON FOURTH OF JULY Celebration starts 6-10 a.m. with the WBFD pancake breakfast. Fireworks are 10:01 p.m. For a schedule, visit West Burlington 4th of July Celebration on Facebook.
